Dismal. Poorly written and rife with grammatical errors. When I reached the second misplaced apostrophe on a single page, I knew I was done.

I could not get into this book. I hated the witless, idiotic protagonist and her self-created pathetic life. She wasn't funny or likable, just weak. A third of the way through it I still had no idea where the plot (??) was going, and gave up. Disappointing.

Just not my cup of tea. A little too gruesome & dark, a little too much incomprehensible science-speak.

Blather, and completely unacceptable blather at that. Boo.

Concept is interesting, but the writing is juvenile and repetitive. I started counted how many times the word “screams” appeared.

I tried, I really did, but after reading 15% of the book I still had no idea who was who or why I should care. Flat and boring. Dnf

Could not get into this book. Writing was bland and smacked of an American trying to write as a Brit. Very slow and uninspired plot;29% in and the mystery has not begun other than minor hintings at a death. Life's too short to read boring books.

Gave up. Poorly written, no character development, no discernible plot; petty, vain, shallow protagonist; even more clearly bachelorette-inspired than the first 3. I could overlook it in the first ones bc there were some redeeming factors, but this one...no.
