An hour left of audio book this I have a couple of things to say. I believe there's is truth in majority of this. It can be tone deaf and really shows how they live in a massive bubble. But that is what royalty is for, you can't expect them to understand real life and have experienced the same things we have they are conditioned to think they have “really lived”, but they will never see or understand life they way non royals do. In addition to this I believe they are the most unsupportive family to ever exist. At every corner there is constant betrayal and lack of empathy for each other. They all look out for themselves. I don't believe that any of the family members actually feel truly unconditionally loved by one an other. The show that is the royal family is exactly that A SHOW, and they all wanna be the favourite character. Instead of ruling over the press and controlling it how a royal should (I mean in terms of their image not everything). They just do everything in their power to look good for the press regardless of how, to be honest they are all cowards. Their lack of support and how they don't condemn what the press says about one another really emphasises this. Their own image is the biggest concern and don't care how getting approval hurts their children, parents, brothers or sisters. I just think it's really sad tbh. Just finished now and he kinda insinuated the press thing after I continued listening.
Like nothing ive read before. Felt it was slightly strange to begin with but grew to love it as it was so detailed and thought provoking. It had me feeling all sorts of emotions. Tw:sh and small spoiler I feel this book portrayed the action of self harm as honest and felt it showed the thoughts of some or many self harmers. Which i feel it almost always miscommunicated and usually dramatised. Four stars as i felt the beginning of the book was difficult to indulge in.
Was soo obsessed with this book for some reason.....hindsight is a great thing.just needed to add to my read pile cus it was a big part of 15 year old mes life
This book is so cute, I love how it's written you can imagine the journey despite the quotes and picture pages. Idk if I explained that well oops. Anyways was a cute lil reminder to picture things different than how you imagine and in a not so negative light
