
I don't read a lot of true crime, because I hate the tiktokification of the genre, but this masterpiece is the very opposite. I hadn't felt like this since the masterful Gone In The Dark, but this report of a trial from inside the court is chilling, brutally honest and evokes a variety of emotions not unlike those felt by the spectators of said trial. More than a who did what, its a report of humanity after a horrific tragedy
