I enjoyed this cozy! Maggie was tough and vulnerable and the supporting characters were varied and fun. There were so many suspects, but it didn't feel chaotic and I wasn't sure who the killer was until all was revealed!

This case was a little boring and I really can't stand Blair (I know I'm not supposed to like him, but it's ridiculous what he gets away with!). I also didn't understand that flashback ending. I felt like I missed something....

This was quite the claustrophobic thriller. The story had enough intrigue and meat to it that I'm interested to see where Yamashita takes Cara after that epilogue.

I was impressed and awed by Baek's honesty. How incredibly vulnerable she allowed herself to be and I'm grateful for it.

I'm actually not sure if I liked this. It was interesting, at first, but the writing was choppy and everything had a cartoonish feel to it. It took me about 2 hours to read this, so really quick read!

This was around 430 pages and nothing happened until about page 320. I don't think I've ever rated a Nora Roberts book lower than three stars, but I was just so bored with this one!

It took me awhile to get through this short book because I wasn't in the mood for the slow pace, but it was really good. I do wish you got to find out what happened to the customers afterwards, but I did love all the stories. It also made me really hungry!

Found myself drifting off instead of paying attention and just flipping pages without really absorbing the story. I just wasn't all that engaged. I've enjoyed the previous books, but I think this one just didn't grab me the way the others did.

Phyllida is a little too snooty for me I think! But I liked the premise and the inclusion of other mystery authors.

Maybe I'm just not in the mood for slapstick comedy.

I love these cats. They are trouble and I am here for it.

Loved every bit of this. I want to be Elizabeth when I grow up, or maybe Joyce. There were some very funny bits and teary ones as well. The mysteries kept coming and just when I thought maybe I knew where Osman was going, he changed course. Fully satisfying.

I was irritated at first with Kate not doing anything about the video. There's no way the police would leave it up because it was evidence! And the idiocy of her assistant/friend posting the whole thing without watching it was nuts too! But after all that I liked everything else!

I like this series far better than her crochet series. This installment had a lot going on, but it didn't feel all over the place or too busy. I wish she would put Kevin in his place, but alas, what's a cozy without an annoying character?

Super fast and fun. I was excited to see Sanjay here too! I hope there are other connections to Under Lock & Skeleton Key later on!

This was fun and funny! Just when I thought I wasn't going to find a cozy series I wanted to continue, I picked this one up. Just in time!

This shouldn't have bored me, but it did. It felt so long, but thinking on it, things were moving along so I can't put my finger on why I just wanted this to come to an end.

I'm not sure if I didn't like this because I listened to the audiobook and hated the narrator's delivery or if I just didn't like the book. The narrator made everything into a screechy panic, making the MC very unlikeable.

Fun, but there were no surprises here. A few red herrings that didn't work and it read sort of ridiculous, but it was a fast, fun read if you want some escapism.

Feels like a less dramatic Mary Higgins Clark book!

I didn't read the synopsis so I spent a good part of the story wondering where Brockton was. But I actually really enjoyed Descartes and Dubois. I really hope Dubois makes an appearance in the next book!

This series has been okay so far but the didn't age well. The weight shaming and women belong in the kitchen stuff is off putting but these were written almost thirty years ago. Still, it's irritating!

The number of times the same things happen to Abby and she doesn't connect anything was crazy. It took an insane amount of time for her to piece things together, but I still enjoyed checking out this new to me series.

I was so torn throughout the whole book! Patricia and Margo were superb characters. I didn't know what to expect when I started reading and it was exactly what I was hoping for. It also made me feel like visiting the library!
