The book was great, the characters were awesome. It was a very interesting storyline. It's different than her other books I have read in the past and I really liked it.

Awesome story

I came across this on a Facebook ad, I usually ignore them. The blurb for the book was somewhat interesting, I thought I'll give it a few chapters, but I almost read it all in one night, I had to sleep. The book itself was much better than the synopsis. Reminded me a little of I am number 4, which I loved. I have already downloaded the next 2 books.

This is the worst Hamish book I have read. There is no happy ending for Hamish. I am so disappointed in this book.
R.W. Green, please do not continue this beloved series. The series should have ended with a happy ending for Hamish.

This story was short but a great fast read. It's a good prequel to a new series.

The premise sounds great but I found it boring. I'll give it a few months and try again. I really love her books, just not this one.

I have so many issues with this book. If a woman is unconscious, she can not give consent. This is dnf for me, 6 chapters in and she just beginning to think about her kid after 2 months.

I thought the book was great and I was thrilled that Brody finally had a happy ending.

I thought this would be interesting, however I just found it a bit blah. Within the first few pages, I decided I didn't need this version.

The books have seriously begun to drag. I've been listening to the audiobooks. The female herioines all seem whiny, and the narrator keeps pronouncing Chattanooga wrong. It not pronounced “Chatt nooga” it's Chatt-a-nooga.

It was good

It was good. I thought there would be more conflict than there was. A bit anti-climatic. It was a quick read.

Boring, way to much inner dialog. Way to much description of unnecessary things.

Extremely boring.

It's a horrible story about a creep who couldn't handle that his wife was better than he was.

Interesting storyline but the story itself is more horror and gore than fantasy romance. I do not recommend.

This book was so convoluted that I swear 2 different people probably wrote beginning and end. I just could not finish, what a bore to listen to.
