What a beautiful book. The way that K-Ming Chang strings words together is not like anything I've ever read before. I could easily highlight every sentence on every page as a favorite quote.

I was very invested in this story and found that each story could easily be it's own stand alone book. I would love to read all of Altha's stories.

The short chapters made this a very quick read for me. The plot was interesting and kept my interest.

I didn't anticipate the major twists, so was surprised at the ending.

At times I felt like the writing was setting up to be a spicy romance, but never got there.

Overall, I gave it three stars because it kept my interest.

One of my all time favorite books. I have read it many times.

I thoroughly enjoyed this book. It was surprisingly entertaining and I grew fond of the characters. Not only did this have a good plot line, it also had great world building. Very enjoyable.
