Had this bookmarked for a bit so I checked out the audiobook on hoopla, shout out to my public library. A cute story about love and baseball, with no major conflicts except emotional baggage. Narration threw me off initially because I didn’t realize the story took place in the 1950s. A bit quirky with the accents but it grew on me.
