I've quite enjoyed this quirky series of thrillers, some interesting characters and plots, but coming a little predictable in format. Somewhat, violent in the action sequences, but good escapist fun.

Can't read anymore of this series. It's been good fun, but the story structure is repetitive, such that I predicted the major plot events before they happened.

Rubbish. Weak characters, unoriginal world view, little plot.

Another masterpiece from RJ Barker. Part 3 is eagerly awaited.

I've read all the books in the series, so far - they just get better and better.

I had real trouble engaging with this book. I'm not sure why. An interesting plot with good characters; better than the 3/5 I gave it.

Are the baddies, really the goodies?

Very entertaining! A novel take on the Disciples, Angels and Heaven.

Amusing in parts. Much too laddish - constant references to big boobs and ‘Mr Wriggly' getting excited. Couldn't be bothered to finish it.

A lot of this book confused me. Some of it disturbed me. Perhaps when the third book comes out I will find out what's going on.

Meh. Gave up halfway through second book. Bored me.

Long, complex, and grim. You will need stamina to get through all the alliances, betrayals, plotting, and chicanery.

A few times I had to stop and review who was currently on whose side (and if they were still alive!)

A great stormy read.

Very well written, interesting characters and a plot with a twist.

An excellent thriller, one of the best I've read for a while.

Hugely entertaining!

3.5 Initially the title put me off, but it was great fun. Hat tips to Terry Pratchett.

It was ok but I got a little bored in part's

The problem I have with these books is that when I read Jack Widow I hear Jack Reacher.

Quite good fun, but Jack Widow is a Reacher clone. The writing is getting better, but needs better editing

A young adult novel, but nevertheless a very entertaining read. Part 2 coming up.

A rollicking space opera/fantasy with dark necromancy, black humour, and an underlying susurration of repressed sexual tension.

One the best reads I've had for ages
