I listened to the audiobook and loved the performances!
I read Station Eleven a while back and loved the author's prose, so I was looking forward to listening to this book when I was browsing the available audiobooks on Libby. Sea of Tranquility is, I think, even better than Station Eleven. Similarly to Station Eleven, Mandel explores pandemics and humanity. But what I really loved was the question one of the main characters struggled with throughout the story - what is the point of it all? Is this life we're living real? What makes something "real"?
I think this book could've been a little longer, and relationships between characters could've been fleshed out more, but I kind of liked how lonely and separate each of them felt. It added to the aesthetic of the novel, in my opinion!
