The banter, tension, and hate bleeding into lust was captivating, and made me want to be the one being chased through the woods. I loved how ingenious Caroline was with her traps/hiding/escaping, and I loved Nicholas’ delight at having a small challenge while he hunted his prey/future wife. I loved the tidbit about the mistletoe towards the end! Great little twist that I wished she had figured out sooner.
I enjoyed this quick novella, I actually read it in the corner at a holiday party I was not enjoying and finished it that night before I fell asleep haha. It was so good!
I love a little twisted dark romance story, and a re-imagining of Santa as a handsome dark coded man named Nicholas is delightful for my dark loving soul.
