A Boy's Ride

This one is a fun oldie set in 1209 during the days of wicked King John, just before the signing of the Magna Carta. In order to save another boy's life, Hugo sets out to cross England with only a Saxon manservant–Humphrey, crusty and a dreamer of dreams–and make it to France and safety. Many a man chases after them and they brave lots of perils on their way. Also, there are quite a few humorous moments that had me chuckling aloud!
