An interesting detective/crime-type story set in the 70s, revolving around some strange occurences where people die in very violent ways (hardly any gore involved, which I appreciated).
The story builds slowly and if you're into very specific details, this book is for you. I prefer less detailed descriptions and more character building so it's good that this book also has plenty of interesting characters to take you along for the ride.
This is not really my favourite genre to read but gave it a go on my sister's recommendation and I am glad I did. A solid effort - I will look into the author's other books as well.
