A Wild and Unremarkable Thing

Thank you to the publisher for providing an ARC to me!
This novella follows the story of Cayda who is forced by her father to live as a boy to slay a dragon.
At first I had some difficulties getting into the book because I didn't like any characters besides Cody.
But about 30% through the book this changed and I started to really enjoy it!
The world building was really awesome and I could imagine everything vividly despite the book being only a novella, the author managed it perfectly! The writing style was great too.
My favorite part about this book were the dragons and Cody's journey during his mission and I really admired her bravery!
I would recommend this book to any person who loves fantasy worlds and dragons.
