I have Aspergers, and this book helped me with some things. It's not very thorough, but a very nice guide.
I recommend this to anyone with Asperger's, or with loved ones with Asperger's.

So - now I have read some of the reviews, and I have to say something more.

The author of this book is not a scientist or medical healthcare professional. The author is an artist, a write and a singer-songwriter. She doesn't KNOW things, she writes about what she thinks.

She wrote the book, because when she wrote it, there were a lot more people who thought girls can't even have Asperger's. (Now we believe no-one has Asperger's.) This is one of the first books ever written about how girls' Asperger's is different from boys' Asperger's.

This is not a fact book about Asperger's. This is a book about the author's personal, subjective experiences, things she has learned during her life living with Asperger's, things she has scooped up by talking with other Autistic women.

It is like discussing with your big sister or a friend. Take the “advice” as that, not as “medical advice from a professional who can support her theories with actual science”.
