hero journey of self awareness + mountain.
Okay, so I read this for my YA lit class (in advance)and in my opinion the protagonist is a controling-arrogant-rich kid-snot. Who I did not appreciate his journey of self-awareness(?!) on how to move through life slower and with the help of other people.
I know I put this book in the summer reading lists but perhaps it appeals to the boys more?
