In Book 6 it's back to Camelot we go, go, go and man what a ride! With King Arthur and the Gweneviere Brigade at their side, Crisa, SJ, Daniel, Kai, Blue & Jason storm through Camelot to fight, bleed, fight some more, bleed again, die a little, dust it off and keep fighting in an attempt to reclaim Arthur's rightful place.
As if that wasn't enough, Oz and Book are still in danger from the antagonists. Paige & her memories still need to be retrieved and secured. With the Vicennalia Aurora close at hand the threat of the In & Out Spell being torn down around Alderon (where all the worst villians, witches & warlocks reside) is becoming real. Time is running very, very thin.
Throughout all this chaos, Crisa has made some devastating and hard choices and is questioning her ability to harness enough strength to withstand her Pure Magic. At every turn there is pressure, adversity, and fear of making the wrong choice overshadowing the good intentions in her heart, but as she says:
“I had done a lot of bad, but I had done a lot of good too. At the end of this chapter, my character was very much like the dilemma of taking life I'd struggled with up till this point—a gray area. But . . . perhaps that was a good thing. Maybe the gray was not where people went to get lost. Maybe it was the perfect place to be reborn. For in that gray was the potential to be anything, to become anyone.”
With only 2 books left in this series I am on pins and needles. There is so much left “on the table” and I'm anxious to see how it all resolves. There is also so much more than I can put on paper so just do yourself a service and snag this series
