In Book 2 we find our wanna be heroes, (Crisa, SJ, Blue, Jason and Daniel) continuing on their quest to find the Author and change their fates. To do that they need to find the remaining ingredients to dismantle the In & Out Spell surrounding the land of Book. Part of this quest takes them to the Forbidden Forest where they meet fairy tale legends such as one of the Three Pigs, the witch in Hansel & Gretel's story, and (briefly) the White Rabbit. (Eeek! Cue the geeky child in me here..yes it's that serious)
Throughout this journey Crisa battles, not only Arian and the antagonist goons set on ending her, but also herself. Struggling with her fears she has to decide whether she can truly learn to trust in herself and her friends before it's too late to become the hero she so desperately wishes to be.
I don't believe I can adequately express how much I love this series so far. As soon as I start I get sucked in and disappear. Before I know it the book is over and I'm sitting here like wait..where am I?
