Why?

I must not be in the mood for this because everything about this writing is grating on my nerves. There is no personality to the character whose head we are in - the physical actions can be seen, but there is no emotion here. While I love multi perspective books, to jump around so much so early, I feel, is taking the easy way out. It looks like we have three or four main characters (depending on if a zombie is a main character) and from flipping through the book, it seems like it takes over half the book before any of them meet up. I don't like this.
