So maybe lacking the emotional depth and nuance of Sunstone, but this is still a good time. The art is, as always, lovely. The characters don't all have depth yet, but it's only the first volume. The monsters are gloriously Lovecraftian, and the his mythology is good fun. This also reminded me of certain manga I've read. Like a Bleach/Lovecraft/Death/other stuff mash-up. Which I find irresistible, but that's just me.
