Disco Sour

Je ne sais plus exactement comment j'ai entendu parler de ce livre, je pense que ce devait être sur Goodreads, où l'un de mes contacts en a certainement parlé d'une façon ou d'une autre. Je me suis renseigné et j'ai eu envie de lire ce livre. Sa particularité est qu'il a été financé sur le site Unbound, un site de financement participatif pour auteurs de livres. Le principe de ce site, bâti sur le même modèle que Kickstarter et autres sites de crowdfounding, est simple : les auteurs présent leurs idées de livres avant même de l'avoir écrit, et les futurs lecteurs contribuent financièrement pour faire aboutir le projet, en recevant évidemment un exemplaire lorsque le livre est publié. C'est sur ce modèle que Disco Sour a été financé et publié.

En ce qui me concerne, je n'ai pas participé directement au financement du projet, je l'ai découvert une fois qu'il était intégralement financé, mais j'ai acheté mon exemplaire directement sur Unbound pour soutenir la démarche. C'est clairement le résumé qui m'a attiré et m'a donné envie de lire ce roman :
