Another decidedly average offering in the Big Finish audio series, this concerns a remote outpost on a desert planet using robots to defend itself from hostile native lifeforms. It's a base under siege story that tries to ring some changes on the basic format, but doesn't get very far in doing so.

Exotron is, however, another 3-part story, accompanied by a half-hour offering, which in this case is “Urban Myths”. It's often been the case that these B-audios are actually better than the main offering, and that's true here, too... although, in this case, not by much. There is at least some fun with an over-the-top interpretation of what the Doctor's arrival meant for a particular planet, but what looks like it might be a reflection on different viewpoints of the same events peters out at the end into something rather less.

On the whole, not too bad, but nothing much to get excited about.
