Eva Rae Thomas' life is jam-packed and that is before she decides to go for a run. Going home again does not solve any of life's issues for Eva Rae in Don't Lie To Me. Willow Rose creates drama in a story that does not need any (laugh). Nothing is as it appears and even friends are keeping secrets.
I will confess to having read book six before reading any others in the “Eva Rae Thomas” series and not much time goes by between this first book and the sixth. There are a lot of personal adjustments for each character involved. Thomas is supposed to be retired from the FBI and writing books. Notice the usage of the verb “supposed to be” because if Eva Rae even leaves the house to say go for a run or opens the door to a long-time friend, trouble can find her. Bad for Eva Rae, but excellent for us.
Rose packs some real surprise whoppers in Don't Lie To Me. I cannot wait to see the fallout and what happens the next time Thomas opens the door or goes for a run. Willow Rose is a guaranteed name on my author must read list.
