Firefly

Quite enjoyed the end where the crew of Serenity attempt to buy time from their captors by arguing about who should be killed first, by degree of virtue.

Made me think of The Hobbit.

Also loved the word layouts.

The story seemed weak in areas, however the characters remained the best part.
I was thankful in some scenes that they all referred to each other by name because sometimes it was unclear who people were.
