Hard Girls

I received a free copy of this book as part of the Novel Suspects Insiders Club.

The first thing I'm going to say is that I wanted to love this book. Just reading the blurb I thought it had everything that I like. Complicated family history (✔️) Morally gray, kick-ass women (✔️) Secrets (✔️) Twins! (✔️✔️) But sadly, the book was just okay.

I was prepared to not like Anabel. But the fact is that I didn't like anybody in this book. I didn't like Harry. I didn't like Lila. I particularly didn't like Jane. And it was hard for me to care about any of them.

I didn't hate the book, but I didn't love it. And I will definitely not continue with this series.
