Thank you to the author for providing me with a copy of this book via R&R Book Tours in exchange for my honest review as part of this blog tour.
This book is told from the past and the present and from Ed and Emmies POV and they are twins. This book is hard to review without spoiling everything but don't worry this review is going to be spoiler free it will just be very vague as well.
I was hooked from the very beginning. Ed is an outcast both in his personal and professional life. The things that happened to him throughout the entire book made me so mad especially the things he dealt with at home. I don't see how his sister was so naive. His colleagues start going missing and of course he's the one they suspect of their disappearances.
The writing is very captivating, and the author had me hooked on the story and finding out the truth throughout the whole book. Everything about this book was amazing but for my personal preference when it comes to reading, I wish it would have ended slightly different. Don't get me wrong the ending was great and the twists definitely caught me off guard, but I was left still not 100% sure of what the truth is. I like when books spell things out for me that's what I wish was different. I don't like being left with so many questions and not knowing for sure what the truth is. Like I said though that is personal preference and just because I'm not a fan of how it ended doesn't mean it was a bad ending at all because it wasn't.
Overall, I really enjoyed reading this book and recommend it to those of you who like psychological thrillers.
