Park Avenue Prince

Louise Bay has done it again. I can't believe it's taken me so long to find these books. They're so good, I love her writing style and the affect the books have on me. I literally laugh out loud, cry and swoon, sometimes all in the same chapter. I loved the cover of this book, it's sexy, leaves a little to the imagination but also gives a feel for the book. The only thing that could have improved it, for me, is if it include the narrators names on it.

I loved these characters. Sam with his difficult past and watching him progress and grow and fall in love was beautiful. He has such a foul mouth, and I loved it. Grace was perfection, who doesn't love a female character that doesn't give up, she knew how he felt before he did and that was beautiful. Grace was strong and I love that in my female characters. If I had been asked at any other time if I found characters calling each other by their full name annoying, I'd have answered yes, however, it works, it seemed so normal for these characters and a sort of teasing of each other that I adored. It was great seeing Harper and Max again and how their relationship was continuing after their HEA.

I loved their relationship it was sweet and sexy. Boy was it sexy. Those sex scenes were enough to melt my headphones. If you don't like hot sex, you should probably think about choosing a different book. I loved how having a proper relationship was new to both of them and how they adjusted to dating and being a couple. I liked how Sam wanted to woo Grace, even if he didn't realise that was what he was doing. I understood his reasonings for pushing her away. Your heart will break for him. Thankfully Grace is made of strong stuff and keeps fighting, just like I knew she would. The progression both characters went through during this book was significant and was really the star of the show, it was beautiful to experience.

Andi Arndt and Sebastian York are a fantastic combination, their voices complement each other well. I love Andi, she is always on point and this book is no different. She had a couple of different accents that I thought sounded good and worked well for the characters. She was the perfect Grace. Every now and then I think I've listened to too many SebYo audiobooks and then I listen to something like this and I'm reminded why I enjoy his performances so much. I really felt he brought another layer to Sam Shaw, there is one part which is rather emotional, and the delivery was so superbly done that I had tears in my eyes. The production was great with no issues at all.
