Partners in Lime

3 stars I love the Seaside Café Mystery series, it's one of the first cozy series I ever read, but sadly this instalment was my least favourite. Everly got on my nerves quite a bit, always mentioning her weight and the pounds that she's gained. This is 2022, what about body positivity and body diversity? It really ticked me off. The mystery was well done, but I gotta admit I personally found it less compelling. I didn't really care for the victim at all. I think that's because I mistakingly skipped over book 5.Over all though, the writing is solid and I love the setting as well as the secondary characters. I highly recommend this series if you love cozies :)
