The blurbs promised something quite unusual, and yeah, I suppose so – if you've never read science fiction before, this would seem unusual. I wasn't super thrilled about the book to begin with, but as the story moved on, it did grab me and by the end it was easy to hand this a four-star review – the end does get pretty wild. This is an easy read, Crouch doesn't really use complete sentences all that much, and even when he does, it's short and choppy. At least it reads fast. While the big idea here is not the same, Dark Matter still reminded me of [book:Replay 341735]. Both have broadly similar topics and ask interesting questions.
