Servant of Chaos

Rhodopis has been a slave for thousands of years and never believed in love until....

Rhodopis has no memory of her past. All she remembers is being a slave to the God of Chaos.

Abu visits Chaos' temple with the Sun God, Ra and sees Rhodopis. He sees more in her than she sees in herself, but that is okay because he has enough faith for the both of them.

Now she just needs to take a chance and believe.

Once again, I have to stop myself and not say any spoilers (laugh). Novellas can be hard to describe sometimes.

Laura Greenwood says that this is the end of the “Forgotten Gods” series with the third book Servant of Chaos (Drowlgon Press, 1704357764, 2019). This book proves that the stories cannot end here. Rhodopis is another amazing character in this series. Greenwood states in the Author's Notes that she took the idea for this story from a version of Cinderella that is told in Egypt. Well Cinderella had her “happy ending” and that is not to say that Rhodopis does not have her happy ending here, but....

Now this is where my personal opinion is coming in to play, so if you do not want to be influenced by “fanning” you should probably just stop here and read the story - then come back and tell me if you agree with me. (laugh) ✶✶✶✶

I received an ARC of this book from Author Laura Greenwood via Booksprout and I am writing a review without prejudice and voluntarily.
