Shattered

The last book in the series is one of my favorite couples so far. Chase and Hope have a great relationship but there's a lot to overcome. He's been trying to infiltrate the bad guys in a state-of-the-art bunker while she's been roughing it as a doctor without modern medicine or electricity. Life has looked very different to each of them in the meantime.

It felt very real and raw as I read through and the issues they face seem very logical for the off-grid world (no medicine, difficult travel, etc).

Looks like there will hopefully be an epilogue story called “Aftermath” and I am looking forward to seeing how the town comes back together and gets to the 21st century again.
