I had to find this one through ILL and it is beautiful. I definitely think I am a fan of K.Y. Craft. Years later indeed I did purchase myself a hardcover copy of this gorgeous fairy tale. Now, it is becoming even more special as it is a part of my princess enthusist daughter's study of mythology in her Memoria Press Simply Classical Level 4 (ages 8-11) curriculum. We spent several weeks going in-depth with discussion, vocabulary, and more on this title. K.Y. Craft's newest illustrated Beauty & the Beast is next for us. I hoped for something more as far as the way of writing is concerned, but the illustrations are simply mesmerizing and deserving 7 stars out of 5!
