Solomon's Crown

this was a very bittersweet read.

there is a plot but it somewhat falls by the wayside once the romance comes in; richard and philip are very much the focus of the book even as the plot trucks away in the background. i expected this to have a horribly sad ending, but without spoiling anything im glad that's not the route the author decided to take.

i did enjoy the romance most of all; the letters especially. i love me some good love letters and the yearning was fantastic. 

this was a fairly good read, but i dont think i'll reread it.
