Hands down, the first book is more cute, but this one is still so, so good.

We have another ballerina and baseball player– both featured a bit in the first book, but Alyssa has knowledge of baseball and they aren't hiding secrets from each other... just from their friends. Secret dating isn't really my thing, nor is not dating to make other people happy, so that was an annoyance for me at times, but they were just so, so cute.

Tristan is a dream and Alyssa is super down to Earth. They mesh so well, but I did think they got together a bit too quickly. And Tristan's cure is a bit weak, in my opinion. I wish it was just a tiny tiny bit different.

This is another cute, feel-good story that had me squealing and smiling away. If I don't judge it against the first it is still so amazing.
