So, this was a random grab at my library and I'll admit that I got it because of the title. It sounded hilarious and fun. I wouldn't say it is laugh out loud funny, but it does have a slightly off kilter humour that you'll either get or hate. The entire time I was reading it I kept picturing it as a Wes Anderson film or Tim Burton along the lines of Big Fish, where it is slightly bizarre, slightly ridiculous and highly characterized. It was okay, though I feel fleshing it out would have been better. For a quick, odd little read, I liked it well enough.
