The Girl Who Drank the Moon

I'm always disappointed when my Mock Newbery club hasn't read the winner for the year, but I can't say I'm very sorry we missed this one. While the language is beautiful at times and I found myself rereading and wanting to write down quotes on more than one occasion, the story itself is overly long and winding. Surely this tale could have been told in under 300 pages.

Fyrian is the best though.
