The Healer's Touch is a beautiful story that features the themes of outcasts, disease, healing, and faith. I am not a huge fan of Biblical fiction, but this one was intriguing and kept me interested through each chapter. The characters were pretty memorable, and the storyline was well thought out.
There was one super random POV scene that was brief and didn't seem to have much of a point. I wasn't even sure whose POV it was in. It was really strange because all of the other scenes in the book were from Aaliyah's POV. Stepping away from her perspective for that page or two really disrupted the story for me.
However, this story was an enjoyable journey, and I'm glad I read it. Fans of Biblical fiction stories will probably like this one.
I was not compensated for this honest review.
