I'm usually pretty generous with my ratings (except the 5 stars), but this one I had to give a 3 star. From the beginning it was really good and Grayson is soooo sweet. But there were a couple of character descriptions in areas that didn't follow through the end of the book. It felt (to me) like the plot's timeline should have been different, but overall I liked the book. It was going to be a 4 star until Grayson would always pick her up and carry her. Like bro, she can walk. And I know she's vulnerable and she's self conscious, but she can still walk. I say that because the book keeps explaining how small and tiny she was, and it just kept making me think of her as a child even though she's 26. I was slowly creeping down to low 4 star rating until he started calling her Nyx in person and that was just weird. I mean I get the gesture, but it was just still weird in my opinion, so I'd give this book like a 3.7 Not upset that I read it, it really was a sweet story. I'm not rushing to read it again, though.
