The Runaway Duke

I was enjoying this book until about 60%, then it went downhill really fast. Rebecca is 18, and she is running away from an arranged marriage, with the help of her stable boy, Connor Riordan, who is actually a duke in hiding. I figured while they were running they would realize they had feelings for each other, but instead they sleep together, and the day after they are declaring their love for one another and decide to get married. UMMMM, okay? He insists on calling her wee-Becca throughout the whole ordeal, even after their physical intimacy, which was odd to me. Couldnt you have called her Becca instead? Anyways, I had to DNF@65% because I was getting bored with the story.
