i really tried to power through this, but it simply wasn't for me. through no fault of the author, this already seems outdated. not surprising, considering a lot has happened in the last 5 years. this was also incredibly repetitive; there are only so many ways to say the same things without getting boring. each chapter also felt too brief. it felt like we would build momentum and then come to a complete stop and spin to the next topic.
this also feels geared towards those who know very little about climate change. i stopped at 17% and to that point i felt mainly like i was being told things i already knew — just in more detail with specific numbers. i finally put it down because it just couldn't keep my interest.
