This One Time, In Korea...

Very short, and mildly amusing. Disappointing that almost in its entirety it is set on the military base or the surrounds, and there seems to be no connection with the Korean culture or people.
The anecdotes it contains are short - some only a paragraph, some a half a page. Some are amusing, some are just, well not amusing. A lot are really just an explanation of a situation that occurred, amusing or not.
To be fair, it is an essay by an amateur writer, it is free on Smashwords, and it is recalling her personal experiences in the year she spent on the military base in South Korea, but the writing style doesn't really paint a picture or describe things well enough for me.
Falls short at 2 stars.
