Simple but mostly attractive art. This tells the story of a girl who tries to kill a beast hunter to avenge the death of her Incarnate soldier father, who died at the hands of said hunter. Instead, she begins following him around as he hunts down the men who belonged to his platoon who have lost their humanity. In a long civil war, in order to stand a chance against the enemy, some men literally became beasts in order to fight. And after the war, some of them lost their humanity. So their old captain is hunting them down one by one.

This isn't exceptional, but it is a fair, poignant beginning to the story, and I would keep reading. The monsters look like simplified Berserk creatures, but they aren't as scary or grotesque.
