Underkastelse

Somewhat depressing, the main character doesn't really live for anything, and that's the whole point.

I liked it, it's along the proud social realism of danish authors like Jan Sonnergaard.

The books seems to say that there is no point in life, unless you choose to create one, either by joining a religious movement claiming to know the point of life, or actually choosing to live for something other than yourself.
