Watercress

A girl and her family stop suddenly along the side of the road to collect watercress. The girl is deeply embarrassed to be seen gathering weeds and she does not want to eat it after it is prepared as part of the meal. But then the girl's mother reveals a story about her childhood in China, and the girl's perspective shifts and changes.
