Definitely interested to see where this one goes. While some of the villains seem overdone and the story suffers from a serious case of "these two people have never actually had a conversation" it is a compelling first volume. I was super surprised that the body swap made the male lead go through the pain of a menstrual cycle.

Somehow it feels like I'm missing a ton of backstory context despite the fact that this isn't part of a larger universe. The characters don't seem real and they kind of gloss over how they obtained a child.

I so completely forgot everything about this book that I didn't realize until trying to log it on goodreads that I'd read it before. The main romance here is cute and the story could be good. Unfortunately it's a major plot point so far that the main girl is in love with her guardian who happens to be her biological uncle (not the main male protagonist thankfully). So that's a no from me on reading volume two.
