I really enjoyed this manga. I think the yearning was spot on and the relief Minami felt when his feelings were accepted was really nicely drawn and executed. Would love to have this in print.

This is more filler than anything. Basically all of it is traveling. I still find the world pretty cozy though.

I overall really like The Witch Roads. I was very interested in the building lore and world. I do not think the romance really served any purpose or was that strong. It also slightly leans into "brutal fantasy world" , which not to my taste, but I really like the main characters. I'm interested in reading the second book.

All signs point to thus being the final volume of this series? I would love to be proven wrong, because I really like what we have so far. Ending here means there's a whole ton of stuff that has been hunted at,but will never get expanded upon. That seems a real shame, because I'm interested to see if Aria can use magic, her life going forward, and more of the world.
