pretty good book. I'd probably give it a 3.5.

It's an adult Chronicles of Narnia combined with a bit of Harry Potter. I liked it enough to read the next in the series.

finished in one day on vacation. great sequel to the maze runner. on to the third

great story. can't wait to read more

really great book. lots of old computer and arcade game and 80s pop culture references. combined with programming and virtual reality and there is no way I couldn't like this book. highly recommended to other geeks and people that grew up in the 80s

Received the ebook yesterday and finished it today. I stormed through the first six chapters before getting sleepy and going to bed. Finished the rest the next morning/afternoon. It kept me interested and was the fastest I have finished a book in some time.

I wavered between a 4 and a 5 star rating. It uses the time travel theme but only to really look deeper into the human condition and thoughts on god and religion, individuality, gay rights, and more... All wrapped up in a look into the future.

I enjoyed the book, but I'm not sure I would be interested in a sequel. I will be recommending this one to my friends though.

I gave up on it. I really wanted to like this but it just didn't pull me in. Felt like a medieval soap opera. I got maybe halfway? through.

Great book. I think I liked Prince of Thorns a bit more, but still, this was great. I couldn't get through Game of Thrones (too much like a medieval soap opera), but the Thorn series was MUCH better, IMO.

Pretty good book. Kept me interested. Sort of flattened out at the end like the author decided it was time to wrap things up.

Wasn't bad but couldn't/didn't get through it. Made it maybe 1/4 through.

Really wanted to love this but didn't for some reason. I got maybe 2/3 through and gave up.

Love all of Lowell's works but this just didn't do it for me. I definitely recommend the other trader tales, but skip this.

One of my favorite books. Not exactly sure why I like it so much, but I do.
