Not interested in the story or the characters

This is my least favorite sarah adams' books

The first half was soooo bad then it got a bit better

Levi is best thing in this book

3 stars for the found family for the communication between the two characters

Tbh am a bit disappointed. Okay a lot

I was really excited to read their book since I met Liam and piper in face off, but they didn't meet my expectations

Thought of DNFing it multiple times

Too much smut

The number of times he mentioned her lush tits is disturbing

1 star for Elliott and Elise's relationship and the two or three chapters at the end

I ugly cried during some parts of this book

Her step sister is a bitch

Her step mom ehhhh what can i say

Her dad I hate him i can see his point of view and what he went through but that does not excuse his behavior

The FMC she's funny, sometimes annoying, grieving, delulu but realistic u know

The MMC is cuuuuute

I liked the idea of this book

Love the concept, radio show

Maya, love you kid

It was nice but Nothing special, a bit overhyped

When I read the book blurb I've decided that I'll stop at book 3
The trope wasn't my cup of tee then the book came out and I caved
Ahhh I wish I didn't
I've read like 35% and I really wanted to DNF it but I decided against it, put it aside, came back to it today
65% in and the only time am interested is when clyde shows up
I've cringed multiple times specially when Bash mentioned his son
This did not make laugh or invested enough to finish it
It's the worst end for a serie that I really liked

I felt lost for almost half of the book

I just finished The Bodyguard by Katherine Center, and it's my last read of August. I'm giving it 3⭐, and here's why.

This book was recommended to me by BookTok, and I went in with really high expectations. Honestly, I thought it was going to be at least a 4⭐ or even a 4.5⭐ read for me. But once I started, the first few chapters already had me thinking, “Okay... what is this?”

As I read on, I did enjoy parts of it, and I can say it's a good book overall. But the ending didn't blow me away—it was fine. And that kind of sums up my whole experience: it was fine, enjoyable even, but not what I expected.

I think the disappointment really comes from my own expectations being set too high. I was hoping to find more than what I actually got. So, while I liked it, it just ended up as a 3⭐ read for me.
