The man is not a romantic lead, but instead shows all the red flags of a serial killer. He's a stalker, he's obsessed, he is highly inappropriate. It's not romantic. It's sick. 
Also, throw in some mild racism and jokes about sexual harassment and yeah this book sure is something. Something I will never finish! 

Didn't know what age this was for which sullied my enjoyment. I would've liked this as a child but overall I found it rather dull. 

Not the time but I will read it perhaps in 2025!
