Still a fun read but not a big fan of the gimmick of this part of the dungeon which is needlessly complicated ruining certain reveals. But it's still well compensated by great character moments

Loved this one about as much as the first. Love the start of the character arcs for the main characters to compensate for the initial gimmick losing some steam.

Great start to a series, never read a LitRPG book before so the concept is quite fresh to me and really enjoyed the way the 'game' works and is explored. Will probably start book 2 immediately.

The first Discworld novel, very much a book 'stuck' in the 80s. It's not bad but it clearly parodies and refers to tropes that are not as relevant today as they were in the sword and sorcery books of the 70s and 80s.

Project Hail Mary

Went in mostly blind so I was surprised when this turned into a hybrid of a First Contact story and a story about solving this problem. There's some minor qualms I have like the MCU-esque wisecracking and the lack of better documentation people would leave on board these spaceships in real life (which would solve a lot of problems early on in the book) but overall this is a great sci-fi read.
