This is maybe my least favorite book in this series since book 1 and it is still a 4.5 star read. This book felt like a necessary book to keep the story going, but it lost some of the humanity that really was highlighted in book 5.

I will say in terms of monsters and items, Matt really outdid himself. Some of these monsters are the stuff of nightmares.

This is the best one yet. To me this is when Matt ceases to be creating just upper echelon litrpg and transcends into bringing us a truly elite series. I sobbed at least 3 times. Laughed out loud countless times. And was ready to run through a brick wall muttering "you will not break me" the rest of the time. Special stuff
